The reason why the application is not responding is that you set the GUI thread in the thread, and set the wireless loop in the main thread, which will cause the UI thread to not respond.

The processing thread seems to be waiting for something to load fully. It has the characteristics of a classic hanged program or hanged thread on the Windows 11 operating system. The screen capture below shows you the overlay. You will notice that it sits right on top of the search icon of taskbar.
The size and position of the overlay remains same at all times. I can confirm that this is a big annoyance. In the initial period, I was unable to make sense of this overlay.
