Joomla component config file

Always in the same wiki page was explained how to get the params from the component filed and this is ok but I would to avoid to have the same settings params showed also in the menu settings because I think this "duoble" params settings where only one of them is working can cause some confusion in the user, I don't know if I explained well my doub.

Is there a way to have components param showed onlky i n the component configuration page and not in the menu settings? Right now the only solution I thought is to move the config. Thank you.
