Always great taste and it keep my coffee nice and hot. It also has a safety feature of automatic turn off. Can't go wrong it this easy to use, not to fancy, solid programmable coffee maker. I love this coffee maker very much. It comes in a good range of colors.
But i like the black and silver color scheme. This Coffee maker works better and has lasted longer. I would recommend this for everyday coffee drinkers. A friend got this for my husband to use while he stayed with him while traveling. He loves this!! He uses it every day in the morning now that he is home.
This product is easy to use, durable, reliable, and dependable. You can set it the night before and coffee will be ready for you when you wake up. Even if you forget to set it the night before it won't put you behind schedule because it brews very quickly.
Brew Performance There are options to brew regular or bold coffee It always brews smooth coffee. It comes with a filter that helps ensure that the water going in is clean. Follow the instructions below to reduce or eliminate the chance of breaking the glass decanter or thermal carafe:. Make sure your first cup of coffee is as good as can be by cleaning your MR. Just follow these simple steps:.
Use manuals file type: PDF. Coffee - Coffee Makers. Home Bookmarks Brands Reviews About us. Home Mr. Coffee Mr. User Manual Mr. Documents : Go to donwload! Coffee Coffee Maker. Do not set a hot decanter on a wet or cold surface. Do not use a cracked decanter or a decanter having a loose or weakened handle.
Do not clean the decanter with abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads or other abrasive materials. It would be easy enough to use a bottle brush as needed. So, I started adding quite a bit more coffee than what was suggested. Then one day, I forgot to put the carbon filter in. So, from that point on, I used the 'regular' strength level and tossed my carbon filter into the garbage.
It absolutely isn't needed, I didn't notice any change in flavor. So, bypass that silly expense! The main reason why I was intrigued by this coffeemaker is the caraffe. I love the portability.
I can take it outside or into the living room to read a book or to the computer, etc. My favorite coffee maker I've had I have had this coffee pot for a couple of years now. As an avid coffee drinker I have gone thru plenty of coffee makers in my time. This is definitely my favorite of all.
The caraffe keeps coffee hot for several hours. Mine has never leaked. You do have to pour water into the reservoir it's not detatchable but most are set up that way. Mine is close to the sink so I use the sprayer wand to fill it.
It will overflow if you put more water in than its cup capacity duh. The opening is small but I use a bottle brush or dish brush to clean it and it is very stain-resistant. It has a setting for strong or regular coffee, delay timer I can set it up night before and set time to brew in am and wake up to ready-to-go coffee!
There is a clean feature so it can run just hot water through very slowly to clean it out. You can set it to beep or not to signal brewing finished. Found out my brother has one of these as well and loves his too. I think it is very easy to use and have had no problems at all. I think the other reviewer's problems were the operator and not the coffee pot.
In fact I think this one doesn't drip at all when poured can't say that for my other coffee makers. It does have a tiny hole at one end of the lid to allow air to escape while pouring so if you tip it over too far it may leak out the top, but you'd have to turn it almost upside down to get it to do that unless it was just really really full sounds like the other person put in way too much water.
I'll buy the exact same one if this one ever "poops out. Love this coffee maker -- I'm buying a new one Mr. Coffee ISTX95 programmable cup coffee maker. My husband and I have worn out one of these and we are now getting another. Our experience has been fine: No leaking No overflowing No stray grounds in coffee Simple to keep clean Inexpensive water filter replacements at local "Big Box" store Fairly early on we dropped the carafe onto a ceramic tile floor.
We were sure the carafe was ruined but, other than a small ding in the pot, the coffee maker has continued to brew fresh, strong coffee every day and to pour without leaking. The only time we've had any leakage from the reservoir was when I used the sink sprayer to fill it sorry guys, I just don't agree with that bit of advice and I didn't realize I was filling it too much. I find that filling the carafe with fresh, cold water from our water filter and then pouring it into the coffee maker works just fine.
That way I know for sure I'm not overfilling it. The coffee pours a little slowly from the carafe, but if you want to keep the coffee hot, you've got to limit its exposure to cold air. Our coffee stays hot for hours so I feel it's a worthy trade-off -- What? The only time the carafe drips when pouring is if you take the lid off before pouring -- an unnecessary extra step that results in the coffee cooling off quicker.
Although it's not really necessary, I use the water filter supplied with the unit because I've found that the paper coffee filters are less likely to collapse with the water filter in place -- not sure why, tho.
The water filter replacements are really cheap at our local [insert name of Giant Retail Store here]. They also stock an inexpensive permanent coffee filter to use instead of the paper ones -- I just think that the paper filters do a better job. Our Mr.
Coffee is still going strong after over 4 years, but the button on the carafe lid won't push in any more -- I suspect that dropping the carafe see above contributed to its early? We've decided to replace the entire coffee maker because, after four years, it's just a matter of time A reasonably patient person can't go wrong with this one. This distinctive-looking coffee maker lets you program the clock up to 24 hours in advance so your coffee is ready when you are.
The exclusive Pause n Serve feature lets you grab a cup of coffee while the coffee maker is still brewing. And the Stainless Steel Design complements todays kitchen trends. Mr Coffee Maker I've used this coffee maker before and for the price I am very happy with it. I had to search to find a replacement and received it that week. Thank you Amazon. It features brewing Pause N Serve, Strength selector and by having adaptable Water filtration system and Removable filter basket makes the best flavor of coffee.
This model FTX41 is functionally equivalent to the FTX49, the only difference being that the FTX49 has a dark red trim whereas this one has a brushed stainless steel look. The FTX49 is less prone to noticeable fingerprints on that portion of the unit. That's where the differences end. I purchased this coffee maker at the recommendation of a friend and I'm really happy with it. It has a selectable brew strength, a defeatable audio alarm that beeps when brewing is complete, a clock, and a delayed brew timer.
The delayed brew timer is nice to have if you want to wake up in the morning with a pot of coffee waiting for you. I've used the feature a few times, and I like having it, although most of the time I grind my own beans, so I don't like to let the grounds sit in the coffee machine overnight because they can get stale. Of course, that's unavoidable unless you spend the extra money on a machine that also grinds beans before brewing.
This coffee machine comes with a permanent, washable coffee filter that is sturdy, well-made, and washes out in the sink in a matter of seconds. It also comes with a charcoal water filter that is placed above the brew basket. The manual states that these should be changed every month I wouldn't be surprised if they last longer than that, though. The replacement filters are inexpensive, but if you already have filtered water, you can leave it out. Another feature that I really appreciate is the Fresh Brew timer, which allows you to see exactly how long that pot of coffee has been sitting there.
If you're in a hurry, you can also pull the carafe out while the coffee is brewing to pour a cup. Once you put the carafe back in its spot, it continues normally. I've tried it a few times, and not a single drop has ever hit the hot plate. Oh, and the temperature of the hot plate is adjustable -- I got mine set at the perfect temperature so it doesn't burn the coffee if it's sitting there for a while.
An internal battery to keep the clock accurate in case of a power outage would have been a bonus too. Finally, even though it looks great and feels pretty strong, it's almost entirely plastic, so it doesn't have that solid "I'm going to outlast your children" feel to it that it might have if it had more metal in the construction. All in all, I feel like I'm cheating it by giving it only four stars, but it's not quite 5 stars either. It would be a 4. Enjoy fresh ground coffee without the lines at the coffee shop.
This coffee grinder by Mr. Coffee makes grinding quick and efficient. A round stainless steel chamber grinds more evenly, and can hold enough beans for up to 12 cups of coffee. The deep lid allows for a clean and convenient transfer to your brewer, while a safety switch prevents operation unless the lid is properly secured.
Hand wash lid in warm water; wipe bowl with clean dry towel. Great Little Grinder Seven Years and Counting This amazing little blade grinder has been crushing up our beans now for seven years and counting!
They should have called it the Energizer No bells and whistles, just plug it in, fill it with beans, put on the lid, push down on the button, count to ten, turn upside down filling lid with grounds, dump grounds from lid to coffee maker basket, replace lid, put back in cupboard 'til tomorrow morning. If you need more from your grinder, don't look here, because that's all there is to it. But if you just need to make great coffee every morning, and need a reliable grinder at a great price, this is the one you are looking for.
Put me down as one fully satisfied customer. The only way to enjoy home brewed coffee! It has been about six months since I started grinding my own coffee beans with this Mr. Coffee grinder.
I usually use it three times a week. And my Mr. Coffee grinder is still going strong. Of course, I read all of the instructions before attempting to use.
Like everyone one does right? The instructions state in big bold letters to use only for grinding coffee beans. This grinder should not be used as a nut grinder or any other food items.
There could be some cross contamination of flavors. What if I wanted some nut flavor with my coffee? Hint: If you did grind another food source, put in some bread pieces and grind. The food particles should be picked up with the bread. It is now back to its original state.
The grinders size is perfect for up to a cup coffee maker. I always fill my cup coffee pot, so I wanted to know how much whole beans to use. So once again I found this from the instructions. Six tablespoons. This is the maximum holding capacity for this grinder. Consistency ground size comes next. Yes after nine seconds the size should be perfect for my automatic drip coffee maker. And it was. Any longer than that the grounds would become powder, which is good for espresso and coffee in your cup.
Some people like that so that would work for them. A safety switch will automatically shut off when not in use. That is a nice feature for the safety conscience. When done grinding your beans, turn the unit over, tap a couple times, and "Walla" a pouring device. Pour right into your coffee filter. Turn on coffee machine and now you have time to clean out the grinder. The grinder needs to be cleaned after each use to keep it in tiptop shape.
And have a longer shelf life. One drawback is that some powder sticks to the bottom of the grinder. I just get a paper towel and wipe it out. Presto, cleaned until next time.
Grinding coffee beans at home gives the freshest coffee I can get at home! I would personally rate it as acceptable but not that great. Acceptable 'coz it is easy to use and compact. It gives a very uniform grind, which is what one looks for.
After using it for less than a year,we noticed that our grinder was not grinding the coffee as fine as we required. And,in no time, our machine broke down. Yes,it is surely good for money and for daily usage. Rather,at times,I even tried grinding Cinnamon and,the resultant was pretty impressive. But,I personally do not consider it good for people who want something economical that can sustain for long. Place the cover on the grinder.
Apply gentle pressure and,it takes care of the rest. Cleaning : Use dry soft tissues to clean and, there will be no scratch. Fine coffee maker for my purposes. I purchased this coffee maker at the recommendation of a friend and I'm really happy with it so far.
This is sooo easy! All you do is pour milk or water into the carafe, add chocolate powder or syrup, secure the lid, and push the "on" button. Cocomotion shuts off automatically when the cocoa is ready. And this is steamy, frothy rich cocoa too. Recipes for delicious treats like Hazelnut Cocoa and French Chocolate are included.
If you like hot chocolate you have to have this! This thing makes the greatest hot chocolate and it is so fast and easy. Just add milk and syrup or powdered mix and push the button. They even have marks on the side of the mixing area so you don't need a measuring cup. The hot chocolate is smooth because it is mixed constantly.
Even when my mom made it for me as a kid from scratch it never came out this smooth and well mixed. My only complaint is that since the main part of the unit is all one peice and it has a cord, you can't submerge it, so cleanup isn't as easy as throwing it all in the sink or dishwasher.
That's our only gripe and it's minor. My wife and I live in an area of the country where the winters are really cold and snowy. Cocomotion helps us get through the winter with a much better attitude. I'll be honest. This thing sits in our cupboard from May to September. But from October through April it sees almost daily service. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Surprisingly useful When I received this as a gift from my mother-in-law, my first thought was "Here's another thing that takes up a lot of room and doesn't do much.
What are we going to do with that??? After all, we have a microwave to make the hot chocolate. But I've been pleasantly surprised by this machine. We especially like Mexican Hot Chocolate--the circles of cinnamon flavored-chocolate you break up and stir in warm milk.
